VEGETABLE HEAVEN

Growing and eating lovely food. Trying something different. Saving seeds, breeding my own varieties. Gardening isn't dull!

A few pictures

A few pictures around the village - this is one of the barrels outside the village hall.   There's a clematis on that trellis behind.

This old bike is fastened outside the Citizenlink building.  This seems to be a very expensive way of having a computer terminal in a glass sided building so that the council can replace windows on a regular basis - oh, cynical.  However, we've brightened it up a bit!

Here's our village bench, bought from a Red Nose Day grant a couple of years back.  It's by the bus stop so it's often used.

This is the king-cups, a plant I've known for many years as May-blobs although it's usually in flower in march in my garden.  It's in a rather shallow pond.  It's fairly shallow normally.  It's really shallow just now - we really need some rain.  Gardeners are never satisfied!

Plenty of rain here - nearly an inch this week I reckon. LP and I have been driven inside twice so far today. Please come and help yourself, we have more than enough.

Lol, your comment about citizenlink made me chuckle. I worked answering the calls for 4 years and never had a genuine one! Lots of flashers, school kids and even some naughty activity!
