Christening

Here's the little lady who stopped me getting my hen-house put together! Gorgeous eh? Snapped here at her Christening party. She'd just stuffed her face with yoghurt and was watching the big people eating chilli, fish pie, cake etc. Six months old and counting!

My, what a little cutie, she is!

Pretty cardi too - do I detect grandma's handiwork there?

Great Grandma's actually Hazel. Himself's mum is still a keen knitter.

What a little darling she looks. Unlike many babies at their christenings, she looks very happy too.

So... chicken house, here we come eh?

Saturday Clare, judging by the weather forecast. We'll need to make it up outsde (or we'll never get it out through the doors!)

Excuses Excuses! people will use anything for an excuse not to get down to some hard work in the garden....awww she is so sweet! perhaps she could help you with the chickens when they arrive?

What an excuse though eh Matron? I'm sure she will be fascinated by the chickens - she's my second grand-daughter. Number one, her sister, is now 4 years old, and will talk the skin off a donkey!

She's beautiful and looks so happy. She obviously wasn't too worried about delaying the hen-house construction!

That's not an excuse, it is a REASON.

There is a subtle difference and I have explained to Husband that if he doesn't understand it for himself then I cannot help him!

(He has excuses for not doing what he was meant to, I have reasons - my reasons are usually fix dinner, walk dog, clean up the kitchen, do laundry . . . get the idea?)

Glad you all had a good day for the Christening! 'Little Lady' looks so safe and comfortable in her 'nest' Mrs Flum. She really is a cutie, but by the summer she will be crawling and chasing chickens if she gets an opportunity!. Have fun with her - they grow so quickly.
